On 31 October, 2003, the revised edition of the Greek-English Lexion of the Septuagint was presented on the occasion of the symposium Septuagint Lexicography and Beyond: Symmachus, Aquila and Theodotion, organised by the Centre for Septuagint Studies and Textual Criticism in co-operation with the Department of Biblical Studies and the Deutsche Bibelgesellschaft Stuttgart.
On the occasion of the farewell of Prof. Em. Dr. Johan LUST, the Centre for Septuagint Studies and Textual Criticism organised a symposium on 9 December, 2005 entitled Interpreting Translation. A pilot project on Symmachus in Ezekiel has recently been completed in its first draft.
On 22nd February, 2006, the workshop "De bijbel: een (g)oude(n) gids" (The Bible: a(n) (g)old(en) guide) has been organised in co-operation with the publishing house ACCO. At this occasion the authors, Prof. Dr. Bénedicte LEMMELIJN and Prof. Dr. Hans AUSLOOS presented their book: De bijbel: een (g)oude(n) gids. Bijbelse antwoorden op menselijke vragen (The Bible: a(n) (g)old(en) guide. Biblical answers to human questions).
On 18th May 2006, the Centre for Septuagint Studies and Textual Criticism has hosted the Oudtestamentisch Werkgezelschap (OTW, Netherlands - Flanders) at the occasion of its 193th Meeting.
The Centre for Septuagint Studies and Textual Criticism organized the "Specialists' Symposium on the Septuagint Translation" (Leuven, 4-6 December 2006), as part of the joint project of bilateral scientific collaboration Textual Studies in Early Judaism.
