- Timetable of Liberation
Theologies (pdf
or Excel
file)
This table is divided horizontally according to continents and
vertically according to decades (1950 to 2000). The names of
important liberation theologians are then located accordingly,
starting on the publication year of a relevant work. The names of
major international events are set in red, while the names of
liberation theological movements are set in green, clustered with
their respective representative theologians. The bibliographical
data per theologian will still have to be added onto the
table.
The sourcebook for the information in the table is Alfred
Hennelly, Liberation Theologies: The Global Pursuit of
Justice (Mystic, Connecticut: Twenty-third Publications,
1996).
